Child Safety Standards

Zero-Tolerance Policy on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Watch Our Own has a strict, zero-tolerance policy for any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on its platform. Any content, behavior, or activity that constitutes CSAE is expressly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and mandatory reporting to the appropriate authorities.

1. About Watch Our Own

Watch Our Own is a family caregiving coordination platform developed and operated by Secure Internet Solutions, LLC. The app is designed to help family caregivers and care groups manage the wellbeing of loved ones, including elderly individuals and others who may require assistance, through features such as geo-location, medication tracking, task delegation, fall detection, and real-time group communication.

These Child Safety Standards apply to all users of the Watch Our Own mobile applications (iOS and Android), the Watch Our Own website at watchourown.com, and any related services operated by Secure Internet Solutions, LLC.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Watch Our Own expressly prohibits the following on its platform, without exception:

The creation, transmission, storage, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of any kind, including images, video, text, or audio.
Any conduct constituting grooming, including communicating with a minor for the purpose of facilitating sexual abuse or exploitation.
Soliciting, recruiting, or coercing minors into any form of sexual activity or exploitation.
Using Watch Our Own features (including messaging, location sharing, or video monitoring) to gain improper access to or contact with minors for exploitative purposes.
Sharing, linking to, or promoting any content that sexually depicts, exploits, or endangers minors.
Any other activity that constitutes Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) under applicable law.

These prohibitions apply to all users of Watch Our Own, including individual subscribers, organizational partners, and any person who accesses the platform through an authorized account.

3. Enforcement and Consequences

Any user found to have violated these Child Safety Standards will be subject to:

Immediate and permanent account termination without prior notice.
Mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline (www.missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline), as required by federal law under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
Cooperation with law enforcement, including preservation and disclosure of account data as legally required or requested by law enforcement agencies.
Referral to additional federal, state, or local authorities as appropriate.

4. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Watch Our Own encourages all users, caregivers, and partners to immediately report any suspected CSAE activity, prohibited content, or child safety concerns encountered on or through the platform.

5. Platform Design and Child Safety

Watch Our Own is designed as a closed, invitation-based care coordination platform. Care groups are formed only when a group administrator explicitly invites members. The platform does not include public profiles, open social networking, or anonymous messaging features. These design choices reflect our commitment to protecting the privacy and safety of all individuals within a care group, including any minors who may be present.

Location sharing, video monitoring (“Watch Me Now”), and communication features are accessible only to members within a verified care group, and only with the consent of the account holder.

6. Policy Updates

Watch Our Own reserves the right to update these Child Safety Standards at any time to reflect changes in law, platform features, or best practices. The current version will always be available at watchourown.com. Users and partners are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
